CHRIS BOTTI WAS AS GREAT AS EVER
Chris Botti never fails to put on a FANTASTIC show because he SO loves music and wants to share it. Not only was he himself phenomenal, but every one of his regular band members (a young pianist just over-the-board GREAT) were superb. His guests, including a saxophonist and trombonist who had played with Frank Sinatra AND top rock bands were exquisite. He had some young musicians - as guests, too. ABSOLUTELY great. I had never heard of Veronica Swift, but will surely follow her up now!
EVERY SINGLE PERSON HE INCLUDED WAS OVER-THE-TOP GIFTED. I saw him only a few months ago at the Staller Center, but the show was not identical, even though that show was unbelievably great itself. GO, GO, GO to see a Chris Botti show.
